These terms describe the conditions that apply to verticalrecon.com. Paid
inspection, mapping, modeling and documentation work is governed by a signed
service agreement and its scope, not by this page.

01
What these terms cover.
Vertical Recon is a trade name of Vertical Recon LLC, a Wyoming limited
liability company registered to do business in Idaho.
These terms apply to verticalrecon.com. They cover the website: its content,
its samples and its form. They do not govern paid inspection, imaging,
mapping, modeling or documentation services. Those services begin only under a
signed written service agreement.
Sending the contact form or downloading the sample report acknowledges these
terms and the privacy policy.
If these terms and a signed service agreement conflict, the signed agreement
controls for that engagement.
02
General information, not an offer.
Website content describes services and methods in general. Unless
something is expressly stated as a written offer, it is general information:
not a proposal, a quote or a guarantee.
Sending an enquiry does not create an engagement. An engagement begins only
when both parties sign a written agreement that says so. Project pricing is
set in the signed scope.
03
Service descriptions are general. The signed agreement governs.
Service pages describe how a type of work is generally approached. They cover
what a deliverable usually contains, the conditions it is normally done in,
and where the method’s limits sit. They are written to be accurate in general. They
do not define your job, and they do not bind either of us to a scope.
The signed service agreement and its project scope govern the services, the
deliverables and their formats, the schedule, fees and payment, and acceptance.
They also govern data rights, confidentiality, how risk is shared, and any
agreed insurance requirements. Review the agreement and the scope before authorizing work.
Aerial and ground inspection services are undertaken only under a written
service agreement.
04
Samples and reliance.
Website maps, models, reports, coordinates, measurements, elevations, thermal
images, findings and demonstrations are samples or general information. Do not
use them for project, boundary, design, permitting, construction, safety,
lending, purchasing, repair or insurance-claim decisions.
Project deliverables state their method, conditions, scope and limits. Findings
identify what needs further evaluation or physical verification. They are not
guarantees or engineering conclusions.
Our maps, orthomosaics, models, point clouds, coordinates and elevations are
nonauthoritative photogrammetric products. They are for inspection,
visualization, progress documentation and asset management. They must not be
used to establish or retrace a boundary, locate an easement, or set survey or
construction control. They must not be used to place monuments, write a legal
description, or certify an elevation. They must not be used to stake or lay out
work, or to support design, permitting or conveyance. Work that needs a licensed Idaho professional land
surveyor is outside our scope and is obtained separately.
Website thermal examples show what an observation can look like. Thermal
patterns can have more than one cause and need physical verification and
qualified evaluation.
Sample claim documentation on this site does not interpret insurance coverage,
value a claim, or argue for payment. Vertical Recon is not an insurance
adjuster.
05
Site content.
Site content is owned by or licensed to Vertical Recon and protected to the
extent the law provides. Material identified as public-domain,
client-authorized or third-party is the exception. You may save or print pages for your
own evaluation.
Republishing, commercial reuse, automated extraction, dataset creation or model
training needs our prior written permission, except where the law allows it.
So does any use that suggests affiliation or endorsement. The Vertical Recon name
and wordmark may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, affiliation or
endorsement.
06
How imagery on this site is labeled.
Captured, public-source and illustrative materials are labeled so their origin
is clear. If a label is missing or unclear on a page, ask.
Captured by Vertical Recon
Captured and processed by Vertical Recon for the demonstration or
authorized use shown.
Processed by Vertical Recon from public USGS 3DEP / USDA NAIP data
[year]
A specimen built from public federal data. It shows processing work, not
a flight of ours and not a client site.
Demonstration · Schematic · Illustration
A picture of the form of a deliverable, or of the idea of a place.
It is not a result we obtained, and any values shown alongside it are
marked illustrative.
We do not use generative tools to produce or alter inspection findings.
Processing applied to a deliverable is stated in the report. Synthetic content
is never presented as captured evidence. Third-party and public-source data are
attributed and are not presented as our capture. Testimonials, logos and
numbers appear only where the client agreed and the number is real.
07
Website warranty.
We take care with what goes on this site and correct errors when we find
them. Even so, the site is provided as is and as available. To the extent the
law allows, we disclaim implied warranties for the website. We do not warrant
that its content is complete, current, uninterrupted, secure or free of error.
This paragraph is about the website. It does not change anything in a signed
service agreement.
08
Links to third-party sites.
We link out to standards bodies, agencies and published research. That way you
can check a source rather than take our word for it. Those sites are not
ours. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their
availability, their security or their privacy practices.
A link is not an endorsement, in either direction. Citing a study or a
standard does not mean its authors or publishers are affiliated with Vertical
Recon. It does not mean they have reviewed our work, or endorse it.
09
Governing law.
These terms are governed by Idaho law, without regard to rules that would apply
another state’s law. A dispute about these terms may be brought in a court
of competent jurisdiction in Idaho. The law on jurisdiction and venue applies.
Disputes about paid work, including where they are heard, are addressed in the
signed agreement for that engagement.
10
Changes to these terms.
Revisions apply from the date they are posted, shown at the top and bottom of
this page. Where a change affects something you have to acknowledge, such as
the contact form, the acknowledgment is shown again.
A change to this page does not amend a signed agreement. Amendments to an
active engagement happen in writing, through that agreement.
Ask before you rely on anything here. The same goes for the agreement behind a job. We would rather walk you through the draft than have you discover it later.
